These are the man-sized cousins to bugbears and goblins, probably the result of interbreeding somewhere in time, but now a separate race. They are racially rather clumsy. Hobgoblins have ruling classes and settlement societies, usually based underground, though they have been known to settle in deep woods. Hobgoblins are very jealous creatures- jealous of bugbears, goblins, humans, elves, other hobgoblins... the list is endless. They will start a war with any neighboring settlement if they feel jealous toward that settlement. They use fashioned weapons and armour, but will fight bare-handed if necessary, doing 1d10 Damage Tolerance of damage per open hand attack.
