Goofy Bob wasn't quite heavy enough on his own, so we had to use an etra weight for him. The business cards on the ends of the bars help the prop catch air and rise or fall, depending on their directions. (These have since been removed and will not appear on the final prop.)

Another shot of Witchie Poo. We used her on the top bar because she is by far the heaviest of the ghosties and we knew we would need something hefty to balance out the weight of the rest of the bars. She worked out marvelously!

The four bars are not the same length. The top bar is 6 feet, the two midle bars are each 5 feet, and the bottom bar is 4 feet long. Here you can see all four bars with their appropriate ghosties.

Finally! A good shot of Goofy Bob. You can only see three of the four rods, but that's OK. I like Goofy Bob. Now, the final touches... we'll fly the whole armature on a wire running from the top of one of those columns to a tree across the yard, letting the ghosties hang free, hopefully keeping the arms out of visual range. We'll have a small battery powered "fire bowl" underneath them for them to dance around. It will be beautiful!
