ore Summer

Words and Music by Howard Scott

(Spoken)

So, I'm on the beach, laying on the sand, listening to the ocean, and these notes come to me.

And I have to wonder, "Why do they remind me of you," and, so, to trigger that, I think of them again.

As I get lost in the music and the sounds, I now have to wonder, "Will I remember them when I get home?"

Listen to the guitar.

I am the immortal. Time is the air I breathe. In the end, it's just one more summer. Just one more summer. One more summer without you.

You are the immortal. Time is the air you breathe. When all is said and done, it's just one summer. Just one more summer. Just one more summer without me.

But I know our love makes us immortal. The Sands of Time are the beach on which we walk. In the end, it's just one summer. Just one more summer. Just one more summer without you.

Listen to the solo.

It's just one more summer. When all is said and done, it's just one summer. Just one more summer. Just one more summer without you.

Notes: "The whole thing? Maybe an hour, then several more of fine tuning. I wrote it at the Vineyard in 2004, because, well, that's what I do at the Vineyard- I write. Apple's GarageBand software did the hard parts for me." -Howard I. Scott, III
