Lord Victr Arkayn cheated Death and returned to the world of the living only to find his wife had exchanged her own life for that of a vampyre. In an effort to return her to actual life, mimicking his own rebirth, Arkayn began to experiment again with his alchemy and electricity, aided by the advances in technology of nearly a century. |

Above is the initial (or "Before) setup of our lab table. Blue foam. We used lots of blue foam this year. This project called for one sheet of the stuff. Underneath it are strips of blue foam glued in place with 3M Super 77 adhesive (we love that stuff, too) to stiffen it and provide hidden space under it for hiding the sound effect generator (CD player and powered speakers) as well as the electrics for the p lasma ball, plasma disc, the power for the two aquariums, and the two strobes. We'll have more pictures after initial setup night.

| The lab table in motion. This photo cannot do it justice! It was insanely great! Therefore, on to the vids! In order of their appearance in the Lab of Lord Arkayn.
First, Nick, the still living torso of some poor soul who happened to be caught trespassing. Next, the disembodied spirit head of Nick's sister, Kat, who spent the evening silently chattering away, trying to entice the living to join her. Then comes the failed experiment known only as "Ginger." She is just a burnt out crust of a formerly living body bank. Finally, around the corner to the working space of Lord Victor Arkayn. Last, a walkthrough with one of Arkayn's guests. You will see the Crackpuppies floating obsequiously in most of these clips. |
